What is an AMH Test or Anti-Mullerian Hormone Test?
AMH Test or Anti-Mullerian Hormone test is one of the most important test for a female. It gives the status of the ovarian reserve as well as the functioning of the ovary in the female. It is also used to diagnose Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in females. An AMH Test or Anti Mullerian Hormone test is a blood test that helps in evaluating the ovarian reserve and functioning of a female’s ovaries. Basically, the AMH levels corresponds to the egg production in a female’s ovary. It is also used as a diagnosis tool for PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in females. When there are multiple small cysts in ovaries then ovaries do not work normally which leads to irregular menstruation cycle.
AMH Test or Anti Mullerian Hormone test measures the levels of Anti Mullerian Hormone in the blood which indicates the status of the ovarian reserve in a female.
