What is Semen Analysis?
Semen analysis is useful in determining the extent of male fertility. Number of sperms in a single ejaculation, the volume of a single sperm and the motility of the sperms are a few factors that are taken into consideration during semen analysis.
Patient must refrain from ejaculation, ideally at least for 3 days prior to collection and the specimen must reach the lab within an hour of collection.
